Welcome to the Old Mill Website

Come and enjoy the warm welcome and hospitality of The Old Mill. Situated on the banks of the River Tone on the outskirts of the village of Bishops Hull, just 2 miles from Taunton, the County town of Somerset.

Ownership of the Mill dates back to 1503 and the present family has lived and worked here since 1870, although the wheels have not turned since c.1920, much of the machinery has remained in place.

The Mill building has been lovingly restored and converted to provide luxurious Bed and Breakfast accommodation, where guests can relax and unwind, amidst the wheels and cogs of a bygone age.

The feeling of peace and tranquillity is enhanced by the sound of the river flowing by, where you can watch the endless patience of the Heron, waiting for his catch.
